We are looking for Storytellers
At WSC, we are looking for Storytellers – those who create thought-provoking content to inspire and connect with the Thinkers, who are eager learners and non-conforming explorers of ideas. We believe that your voice, thoughts, and perspective would make a great addition to our platform, and we want to invite you to share your ideas with us.
As a contributor to WSC, you can become a part of our stress-free avenue for you to publish your work and develop your passion. Working as part of our team provides contributors with a path to build their credibility, expertise, and experience. By sharing the workload, our contributors are free to focus their energy on creating meaningful content and expressing their thoughts. This partnership will allow you to expand your audience and network, giving you the opportunity to reach more people with your ideas.
We are looking for posts, articles, videos, and content of any suitable form that center around, culture, language, and any aspect of the human experience. We hope to count you as a member of our team, so that together we can change the world, one post at a time!
The Submission Process
As a contributor to We Speak Culture, here’s what you can expect from us during the submission process. After your submission has been received, our team will begin the review process by ensuring that your work aligns with and follows our guidelines. After our review, your work may be accepted as-is, or we may ask that you make certain changes and resubmit. - Keep it short, sweet, and to the point. While each creator or contributor determines the length of their own content, excessively long submissions may be difficult to review.
- Connection is key! Remember, these submissions are not for an academic journal or a graduate school course – so feel free to be informal and connect on a human level.
- Tell us who you are. You can use your real name or a fake name, up to you! Also, provide us with a short bio along with your submission. You may also include a photo of yourself if you choose!
- Keep the flow and invite others to join our community.
- Don’t take comments or reactions personally. This is a space where all respectful opinions and thoughts are accepted, and we encourage discussion through different points of view! If someone has a different perspective, agree to disagree and let it be!
- No copycats allowed! We are looking for new perspectives, so give your own take on existing ideas. And of course, no plagiarized work will be accepted. Use your own words and be sure to cite work that is not your own.
- R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Negative comments and putting others down will not be tolerated.
